MINOR legends

a delicious new fiction comedy podcast!

Take a seat and dig in.

Over shared noodle bowls, friends dish on bombastic, intriguing, and often untold experiences of what it means to be A.A.P.I. in America through the retelling of their own "urban legends."

What does it mean to be Asian American? One thing is certain, it’s way funnier, weirder, and wilder than American culture ever imagined. "Minor Legends" is a series that follows five friends that serve up stories about their daily lives where they are best enjoyed: The dinner table. Over mouthfuls of Mongolian fried rice and Indian dosas, our friends discuss phenomena specific to their experiences in the Asian American community that whisk listeners away on an auditory smorgasbord. Whether it’s unpacking tigermom method or demystifying hypersexualization, Minor Legends Season One delivers delight after delight that follow our friends delving into the delicacies of AAPI culture through ten larger-than-life, humorous, and often subversive stories from their lives.

A comedy that busts stereotypes, questions standards, and cooks up delicious realness with a hilarious twist, Minor Legends brings listeners to the table to consider how culture connects us and how vast, complex, and delicious the A.A.P.I. experience can be.
