Angela Wong Carbone has always let authentic storytelling lead her. She is an actor, writer, producer, and native New Yorker who started her film career when she was discovered in Rome, Italy. She trained at N.Y.U. Stonestreet and Cornell University, where she also received her B. Arch. As an actor, her career spans indie and mainstream markets; her first feature film, Terra (dir. Marco de Angelis) to her Sundance 2022 breakout Resurrection (dir. Andrew Semans, Universal), from her experimental episodic series Swipe Night (dir. Karena Evans) to her recurring role on season 7 of Chicago Med (NBC). She was recently selected as a member of the 2020 ABC Talent Showcase under the direction of Marci Phillips and Ayo Davis.

Wong Carbone is also an award-winning screenwriter whose latest film, Postmarked, was executive produced by Lena Waithe after her script was selected from 2000 submissions, earning her a spot in AT&T Hello Lab’s Mentorship Program in 2019. Other screenwriting accolades include a 2021 quarterfinalist spot on Slamdance’s Screenwriting Competition for her film “Belonging”. Her dedication to uplifting and illuminating underrepresented voices defines her slate. She is currently producing her show Minor Legends, an audio series focusing on AAPI urban legends, in collaboration with Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP Week Winner 2020, Mixed Asian Media winner Best New Media 2021).

Her stories, essays, and recipes appear in Lulu Gioiello’s Far Near, a continuing book project on East Asian identity, Alex Chester’s Mixed Asian Media (Hapa Mag), and Eileen Kelly's Killerandasweetthang.

She is currently developing several projects.
